Unlike other MATLAB user interface components, <a href="matlab:doc axes"><code class="FUNCTION">axes</code></a>
have two position properties: <code>Position</code> and
<code>OuterPosition</code>. This means one has some extra
options as to how the layout will arrange the axes.
