Nonlinear Hermite Laguerre moment spectral solver focused on Z-Pinch configuration
HeLaZ is a delta-f code meant to solve the Boltzmann equation projected on a kinetic Hermite Laguerre basis (c.f. Jorge R., Ricci P. and Loureiro (2017,2018) and Frei B., Jorge R. and Ricci P. (2020)) . In 2D it focuses in particular on Zpinch geometry and has for first goal to reproduce the results on particle transport obtained in Ricci and Rogers 2006 (c.f. fig. 3). The 3D version aims to simulate a flux tube in the pedestal region of a tokamak.
