Mock Images from N-body simulations

Generating Surface Brightness Maps

Setup the N-body models
-----------------------

Paul Torrey models

Regions of 1 Mpc around four simulations have been extracted and named according to their DM flavour::
stars_1keV_1000kpc_n05.hdf5
stars_3keV_1000kpc_n05.hdf5
stars_10keV_1000kpc_n05.hdf5
stars_30keV_1000kpc_n05.hdf5
To add missing information in a file extracted from the original simulations::
mockimgs_sb_addfields --do_not_compute_ages --do_not_compute_magnitudes stars_1keV_1000kpc_n05.hdf5 -o stars_1keV_1000kpc_n05.hdf5
mockimgs_sb_addfields --do_not_compute_ages --do_not_compute_magnitudes stars_3keV_1000kpc_n05.hdf5 -o stars_3keV_1000kpc_n05.hdf5
mockimgs_sb_addfields --do_not_compute_ages --do_not_compute_magnitudes stars_10keV_1000kpc_n05.hdf5 -o stars_10keV_1000kpc_n05.hdf5
mockimgs_sb_addfields --do_not_compute_ages --do_not_compute_magnitudes stars_30keV_1000kpc_n05.hdf5 -o stars_30keV_1000kpc_n05.hdf5
Those files (reprocessed) are now stored in::
``ARRAKIHS/SIMULATIONS/TORREY_REPROCESSED``
Generate the maps
.................
To get a surface brightness fits image in different band with different ccd (different instruments)::
mockimgs_sb_compute_images stars_30keV_1000kpc_n05.hdf5 --instrument arrakihs_vis_GAIA_VIS --distance 35 -o 30keV_VIS_CCD273-84_35Mpc.fits
mockimgs_sb_compute_images stars_30keV_1000kpc_n05.hdf5 --instrument arrakihs_nir_GAIA_Y --distance 35 -o 30keV_Y_Hawaii-2RG_35Mpc.fits
mockimgs_sb_compute_images stars_30keV_1000kpc_n05.hdf5 --instrument arrakihs_nir_GAIA_J --distance 35 -o 30keV_J_Hawaii-2RG_35Mpc.fits
mockimgs_sb_compute_images stars_30keV_1000kpc_n05.hdf5 --instrument arrakihs_vis_F475X --distance 35 -o 30keV_F475X_CCD273-84_35Mpc.fits

Synthesised models
------------------
Create the model from a Plummer profile with some ages and metallicites hard coded. The magnitues are taken from the ``CMD_Euclid.dat`` file (for example)::
mockimgs_generate_dwarf --minFe -4 --maxFe -2 --minAge 12500 --maxAge 13500 --M0 5e4 -e 0.1 -f CMD_Euclid.dat --logL 'logL' -o 1e4.hdf5 --filters_keys VISmag Ymag Jmag --filters_names MagVIS MagY MagJ
mockimgs_generate_dwarf --minFe -4 --maxFe -2 --minAge 12500 --maxAge 13500 --M0 5e5 -e 0.5 -f CMD_Euclid.dat --logL 'logL' -o 1e5.hdf5 --filters_keys VISmag Ymag Jmag --filters_names MagVIS MagY MagJ
