COulomb COllision Solver
The COSolver, COulomb COllision Solver, contructs the linearized Hermite-Laguerre collisional matrix for the MOLI Linear Solver. In particular, it considers the GK full Coulomb Collision operator. It computes the collisional matrix for like-species, electron-ion, and ion-electron. For ions, a single hydrogenic species is currently implemented.
The version of the code is a migration of the previous drift-kinetic Mathematica solver implemented by R. Jorge to Fortran allowing a better protability of the Collision Solver.
