The ShoulderModel_3DOF as its name indicates, is very simple shoulder model with only 6 muscles and only the glenohumeral joint. The motion of the scapula was also considered by the scapulo-huméral rhythm.
The model is very useful for the initial phase of development. As such in the development of the forward dynamic simulations as well as humeral head translations tis model played a central role.

The model structure is very similar to the ShoulderModel in general.
