Description

cRacklet is a C++ boundary element library based on a spectral formulation of the elastodynamic wave
equations in continuum solids. Its implementation is specially tailored for the modeling of dynamic crack
propagation along a planar interface bonding two semi-infinite solids. The main benefit of this
spectral method is a numerical discretization limited to the fracture plane, thereby providing a very fine
description of the dynamic fracture processes unattainable with finite-element or finite-difference schemes.
