Modification of the damping so that it takes a critical damping (defined at the stable damage) and a damping ratio as input. Addition of adaptive_damping parameter adaptively modifying the critical damping for specific values of damage. Finally, addition of a apply_damping parameter (temporary) for testing the damping when the damage is larger than the stable one.
