Information on computers and servers at the BIOP, protocols, setups and howto's.
If you want to connect remotely to a computer we recommend using **Remote Desktop Manager** ( exists also for [[https://itunes.apple.com/ch/app/microsoft-remote-desktop-10/id1295203466?l=fr&mt=12| Mac OS ]] ).
# Ask for the remote access to a computer by asking to a BIOP staff (via e-mail or in person)
# For Mac users - install the [[ https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/microsoft-remote-desktop/id1295203466?mt=12 | windows remote desktop client ]]
# For Linux users - install the client [[ https://remmina.org/how-to-install-remmina/ | Remmina ]]
# For windows users - the client is already installed
# Start Remote Desktop Manager on your local computer and enter the address using the AD-name (from the table below).
